The following advice will help you to get the most out of your time in our photo studio.
In our professional studio, the photographer knows you are likely to a be a little nervous in front of the camera, so he will give you advice and guidance throughout your studio shoot.
Before you come in for a photo shoot, have a look at the internet and magazines for poses you might like. Remember, meaningful and effective poses require a degree of exaggeration in body movement to work in a studio .
Please don't have any make up on when you arrive. Your hair should already be styled for your photo shoot, unless you have arranged with us beforehand to do hairstyling. If this is the case please come to the studio with clean hair and free of products.
Please Don't forget to have your nails done as these can make or break a photo shoot .
Pay particular attention to changes of outfit. Try not to bring in clothing with fussy and complicated styles unless there is a good reason to do so.
What you might like to Bring, Accessorising a photo shoot is a quick and easy way to bring variety to your studio session, especially if you have booked a 30 minute shoot. Caps, hats, scarves, jewellery, jackets and props such as mobile phones, microphones, guitars and sunglasses etc.....
Brightly coloured and bold outfits work well in the studio as does black and white clothing, Try to think about what you would like the final look to be and select you outfits to suit. Why not bring in different outfits which have definite styling - sportswear, evening wear, jeans and T-shirts are just a few examples.
Bring in photos of lighting styles you like and we can emulate these for your personal session.
If You will need to be spending longer in makeup, there will be an additional charge.
If you have booked a glamour/boudoir shoot with us, please do come in waxed and shaved, a good idea is an all over tan, which can look stunning so do consider using a tanning product.
Lastly, a bit of advice on glamour, boudoir and lingerie sessions. Beforehand, you need to decide what style of images you need to achieve and choose your lingerie and attire accordingly.
